It's Not Right

Shelter: We need to talk to you about Bella. There are some issues we need to discuss.
Me: OK...
S: The vet checked her, and she does not have an infection. The peeing outside her box is behavioural.
Me: Oh!
S: That means we have two options. She cannot be adopted out. Which means she would be euthenized.
Me: Ugh!
S: The other option is that you could adopt her as a rescue.
M: So if I don't adopt her she will be put to sleep.
S: Yes.
