Simple Pleasures

I was out today, doing some erranding, in dire need of a pick-me-up. Suddenly I remembered that I had a free Chai Latte on my Bridgehead frequent drinker card (or whatever it's called)!! Very nice treat for the poverty-stricken Kimberley. So, I went into Bridgehead and ordered my beloved Chai Latte (for free), when I looked over and noticed a free comfy armchair beside the window. I know! The comfy chairs by the window are always taken. So, instead of taking my chai to go (for free), I sat in the comfy chair by the window, drank my hot milky fairtrade chai, eavesdropped on the other coffee-ers, and read the arts & entertainment paper. How sweet is that? I felt a little more cheerful after that little serendipity of the day.
