Sierra

This is our current foster kitty, Sierra. She is ten months old and has been with us since the beginning of February. Apparently she drank from a bucket filled with cleaning fluid, and her owners couldn't afford to have her treated at the vet, so they were forced to surrender her to ensure that she got good vet care. How sad is that!

Anyways, she is very sweet and can even hold her own against Coal's bullying ("These are MY humans! This is MY chair! This is MY living room! That is MY basket that I hate and have never once sat in in my life, and when Kim, who sewed it with her own two hands just for me, tries to put me in it I spread my claws and splay all four legs against the edges and shriek like a bloody banshee, and YOU can't sit in it or I will jump on you with my voluptuous fifteen pound self, and your little five pound self will be squashed like a chocolate wagon wheel in a first grader's lunchbox!" He's such a charmer.)

Sierra has finished her run of meds and is fully healthy, so she will go back to the shelter (Ottawa Humane Society) to be adopted to a new family tomorrow. We will miss her! (and so will Coal - he always misses them when they're gone...)
