Riff Raff
Kent and I rented a camper van, and made our way south of Sydney for nearly a week, hitting around three beaches per day, and 8 national parks. We camped on beaches and lived out of our van like riff raff, and had a lovely, relaxing time...
We stopped and spent 2 nights in Eden and went whale watching. Saw so many humpbacks! Also saw a mom and baby. And dolphins. Pretty spectacular! We also saw KANGAROOOS!!!!!! There was a field of literally hundreds, grazing by the beach! Also, saw big pelicans, an echinoderm, and of course the killer possum.
After we returned the van we spent 2 days in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney, town called Katoomba. We did a really nice hike through the mountains and the rainforest floor. Cute town, kinda Banff-ish. Next we fly to Cairns to meet up with everyone again.
